It is known that spas have been present in society for thousands of years. Spas are popular with women mainly, but more and more guys are going. Spas have long been held in high regards as natural healers of everyday remedies.

In this piece I will look at a top British Spa. The Sanctuary Spa, in particular their Bristol Spa.

To give you lot the best review I could, I had to go and visit it for myself. And to be honest, I was most impressed. I will use a simple scoring systems to help you see what I felt. I will score each section out of 5, the sections are as follows: facilities, treatments, service and relaxation factor.

Service

4.5/5

As soon as I went through the doors the Sanctuary staff made me feel great. I liked the fact nothing was planned for me, I got to do what I wanted when I wanted to. Lunchtime was beautiful, full of healthy food and fruit smoothies.

Facilities

4/5

Having been a fan of spas for many years I have actually been to a number of the Sanctuary spas and have to say they have all impressed. Feel the freshness of their pools, the heat of the steam room and the bubbles of their hot tub strip away all your stress.

Treatments

5/5

The treatments are described as ‘next generation’ and they don’t fail to impress. The range of treatments I went for included a great facial and a full body massage that left me feeling soft and supple!

Relaxation Factor

5/5

I can’t recommend the Sanctuary spa any more, they offer a full range of Spa offers. It won’t cost you as much as you think (guys no more than a night out). I got home feeling fully relaxed, at the time I just drifted away into my own little world.

The only thing left to do if to try a spa out for yourself!
